This deer was found on the road, just dead and still warm. It was loaded into my CRV and carried into an area of woods. The scene of decomposition was set, recorded for two months, and then cleaned at the end of the process. The video record brings us into conversation with the process of decay. My interventions into the process -- recording, covering, and preserving the body-- seek to question our fascination, disgust, and limitations.
